William L. Purifoy,

William L. Purifoy, DDS, of Fort Worth is a periodontist in private practice. He has served as a delegate of the Texas Dental Association, president of the Southwest Society of Periodontists and president of the Texas Society of Periodontists. Purifoy also is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists. In December 2005 Purifoy was appointed by Governor Rick Perry to serve a six-year term on the State Board of Dental Examiners. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, and a degree in Periodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
